teak coffe table burn marks?

I have a slatted teak coffee table/bench, a few weeks ago I set a plate or pan that was too hot on it and it discolored the wood. Its not charred looking, more grayish white. I’ve tried Old English and furniture wax but it hasn’t helped.

      For while it will remove the ring seems to me you take soft white cloth like tshirt and run an iron on the mark and run an iron on low over the ring seems to me you have water mark and run an iron on low over.
