Shipping furniture to Canada from the states for home use?

I’m going down to the states in a month and looking forward to bringing a complete living room set into Canada. This will be for my own home and not for re-sell purposes. Will I be charged customs and Taxes on my furniture entering Canada!?
And what is the most efficient (Time and Cost) to ship the furniture?
