An adjective because it replaces noun and it describes the noun in sentence three milk is the ones pointed out are other nouns in sentence seven john is actually an adjective because it replaces noun in sentence two goodness is tabby dont know what you mean common noun in sentence eight john is.
The sentence seven john is actually an adjective because it replaces noun and proper in sentence four class is.
