Are indoor teak furniture pieces okay outside?

I know that teak is the best wood for patio furniture because of many properties of the wood but was wondering if I bought a piece of furniture that was meant to be indoors but it was made out of teak and I put it outdoors, would it hold up well?

      For outdoors it wouldnt do it it will without contstant treatments would be constant or choose any of anything that makes it wouldnt do it in covered protected area at best otherwise.
