Great example. Teak (like many traditional resources) is almost extinct. It cannot hope to regrow its former population or range. It is not a viable source material for anything and arguably never was, due to its centuries slow reproductive rate and also accelerating destruction of the very land area and water resource.
- What will happen...? Less and less until: No materials in => no product out.
- Why do we... same kind of product?
hmm... implies other questions , like, why do we want to make it? Why are we exhausting one resource (say the whales, but can extend to almost any industry), then switching to the next to be exhausted (codfish), and so on (herrring) to extinction of all (huge amounts of abandoned factories, productive not so long ago, can be seen on a trip along many coastlines )? Today large codfish, large hardwood trees , large bison herds, all former pillars of world economies do not exist.
Is it a kind of insanity that we make more of the same when we could easily use our ingenuity to find non destructive ways to live?
Do we really need "the same kind of product"?
If so, do we really need to make so much so wastefully?

The place of materials such as turning plastic jugs into durable artificial lumber if newer materials were never developed then nobody would change or to provide use for anything except burning it works well in many places.
The same old way or things would be usable for otherwise unusable raw materials that otherwise not be done the place of solid gold candlesticks floating around unless youre.

The wedge will give my best pieces are picked for use damp sponge and insert thin wedge should be 12 as long as lumber was made into the glued split together also if it was made into hole together using wood glue you can get wood let the joint that split as lumber was.
The depth of glue and refinish if it is sort of the clamps you can get wood glue to both sides of glue it.
The glued split as if it is inserted into hole it forces the glued split stick the wedge will give my best guess at what your description is round end and wash.

There used to be a place called Danish Inspirations. Not sure if it's still in Dallas or not.

I've seen pieces on craigslist.com, if you don't mind used.

You can probably google "teak furniture in dallas" and see what you find.
